Task: 23 Feedback

All done!!! Lots of fun!!! Easy, instructions are clear. Had trouble to preview some videos. I will definitely use iGoogle, Flickr and other applications. Good stuff!!!

Task: 22 Skype, Instant messaging & Meebo

I have signed in to Google Talk and invited a few staff members for a chat. When I was adding contacts I made a mistake in the email address and couldn't fix it, to correct mistake I had to create Gmail account, where I could change the email address. I have asked Graham about difference between Instant messaging and chat.
I have added Google Talk widget to my blog. I use Skype quite a lot at home. We have video camera as well, so when I talk to my friends and relatives we can see each other and have conversation.

Task: 21 Podcast

I found a few podcasts and I have added a Podcast on SyberWorks E-Learning to my blog.

Task: 18 Library 2.0 (Encore & EBSCOhost 2.0 interface)

I use Encore quite a lot. I have included Encore demo in our Catalogue Tutorials.
New EBSCOhost 2.0 interface is more interactive and easy to navigate.

Task: 16 iGoogle

I love it. I have customised my iGoogle home page and have added some gadgets, such as Dictionary, WorldCat Search, Facebook, Google map Search, weather, time, Wikipedia and Google Docs. Using iGoogle I can access all different applications from any computer, it's very convenient. I will definitely use iGoogle.

Task: 15 Google Book Search & Google Scholar

I have accessed Google Book Search to look for some fiction books in different languages. I've used Advanced Search and limited my search by Language and my search was successful. I have selected the option "Full view only" to retrieve books with full text. Also I have searched Google Scholar to find some recent articles on "Learning Commons". I could open and view electronic theses, e.g. A User-centred Evaluation of the North Carolina State University Libraries Learning Commons/ by Stephen C. Sherman. Both tools are very useful.

Task: 14 Google Docs

I have created a power point presentation on BONUS promotion in Google Docs and shared this document with another staff member. I have saved this document in my Google account and tried to print it using different options such as pdf, txt.
This is an excellent way to work on the presentation as a group, so everyone can contribute to the presentation.
